Why I Built the Put Path Options Trading System?

I didn’t create the Put Path because I thought options trading needed another complicated strategy. I built it because I needed something different myself. I’ve been trading stocks since I was 13, but when I started trading options I made some expensive mistakes.

I traded naked puts. I bought long calls. I experimented with different strategies, underlyings, expirations and directional assumptions. At one point, I lost more than 40% of my options account.

What finally changed things was reviewing my trade journal and studying what actually worked. Over time, I began building a simpler approach around probability, defined risk, diversification and rules I could follow without staring at a screen all day. That approach became the Put Path.
